| Treasure Hunting God continues to activate more treasure hunters that are serious about demonstrating the kingdom of God. We continue to train and release believers to hear God's voice and manifest His presence! Treasure hunting, is a time when we seek God for direction and for the Holy Spirit to reveal the treasure within people we discover on our treasure map. On another one of our recent treasure hunting excursions, darkness was pierced with the light of the living God. The hunters went out on Friday night with clues in hand and the fire of God burning within. As the hunters encountered the cold night, God was about to touch a soul clouded in darkness. A certain individual was walking up and down the street that was dressed in black, wore face paint, a pentagram around his neck and God was the farthest thing away from his mind. However, as this man walked by, God began to reveal things about this complete stranger's life, that no person would ever know. Soon, the hunters were "reading this man's mail", and barriers were breaking down. This individual had a sad story about how he lost his childhood sweetheart in a car wreck. God also revealed to the hunters that this man was a suicide survivor and that life should have crushed him, but because he had a strong inner being, he had survived it. Suddenly, the compassion of an ever powerful, loving God began to move, and destiny was spoken over this man's life. The darkness that covered him for so long began to dissipate as the piercing ray of God's light and goodness began to touch his very inner being. |
Soon he allowed the treasure hunters to pray with him, and God began to remove burdens and destroy yokes. He later said that he had never experienced peace like that. This man had an encounter with God that evening, and the words of destiny are probably still ringing in his ear! Through relationship, and because of obedience, a turnaround point has come into this man's life.  Be sure that you don't miss this next Friday night, it's gonna get more and more exciting! Children's Ministry We have continued to see God use the children powerfully over the past few weeks. We have activated many of the children to begin praying for the sick and we continue to train them with our new curriculum for KIDS Church called: "Divine Healing." Two of the kids recently went on a treasure hunt in Wal-Mart and prayed for a young man with a sling on and a woman in a wheelchair. We are seeing boldness in the children that we have not seen before and we praise God for this!We have continued to teach the kids about different methods that can be used to release God's healing power. Each week, the children are exhorted to activate their faith and demonstrate what they have learned! We're not just playing Sunday school as normal, we want each child to understand that they can be used right now to demonstrate God's love for others. The Bible says that "signs and wonders follow those that believe" and this includes children. There isn't a miniature Holy Spirit, they have the same power that raised Jesus from the dead living inside of them. |
We look forward to having your child and/or children actively involved in the various opportunities provided for spiritual growth. Ministry activation is available through treasure hunts, drama, puppets, greeting, praying, etc. We take the kids on treasure hunts every other Saturday from 11:30am to 1:30pm. The kids are being trained how to hear from God and to act on what the Holy Spirit says through treasure hunting.
