"Where there is no vision (no redemptive revelation of God), the people perish..." Proverbs 29:18 AMP In the natural the cost of building a new building like the one proposed may seem overwhelming. Building the Dream through ministry to our church family and outreach to our community in the city of Bozeman, the Gallatin Valley and to the world is very expensive. Thankfully, our faith is not based on our natural provision, but on the supernatural provision of our God. Word of Life's DNA has been built on accomplishing the impossible. We have always been called to attempt things that are so big that unless God helps us we would not succeed!
Prophetic directions for this year confirm our word from the Lord that now is the time to build. A prophetic voice in our generation quotes Nehemiah who said, "The God of Heaven Himself will prosper us; therefore we His servants will arise and build" (Nehemiah 2:20). Build! That's the season in which we find the Fresh Fire of God. After the dark night of the soul I received a word from Heaven. God asked me, "Do you know what time it is?" Then He answered, "Greater glory" and then He continued to say, "Build! Build! Build!" We've got God's word now and so we're to be focused, we're to be building, and we're to be building fast.
Listen if you're going to plant anything, build anything, launch out into any kind of ministry this is the year to do it. This is the year to create! It's time...there's oil on it! It's a season in which God is fulfilling apostolic visions and dreams. So we need to be like Nehemiah. That means we need to know the season we are in, to be focused, have a sword in one hand, and a hammer in the other! Like Nehemiah we need to be aggressive in order to go all the way--"The Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force" (Matthew 11:12)."
Something powerful happens when you decide to step out in faith to give an amount of money that requires God's supernatural intervention. Our family is making the largest sacrificial gift that we've ever made in our lives. Instead of worrying about "How we can afford this?" we're thinking "We can't wait to see how God miraculously provides what we've committed to give in faith!" He has provided in the past and we expect Him to continue to do it into the future. The only way we will overcome is by a supernatural release of faith. Real victory comes out of real faith. So seek the Lord to energize your faith. It's time to walk in solid faith. Great faith!
Another well known prophetic voice said "That which is good is the enemy of what is best," Good things will keep Christians from the best if they think that when they're "doing what's good" it is "the blessing" of the Lord. I say that because in the midst of doing good things there is often an attitude of complacency. So the challenge is not to settle for, or just be content with, what is good, but to desire what is best!
The need is real and the time is now! We will move forward one project at a time trusting God in faith for His provision. It will take team work. It will take all of us sacrificing in faith together. We need each of us to give and do our part. The cost of building is too great for a few to carry the load. Your church needs your commitment now, like never before.
It doesn't take a prophetic word to recognize that space to meet in the city of Bozeman and the Gallatin Valley is difficult to find these days. Property values are finally on the decline. We cannot wait any longer to begin investing in adequate land and facilities. Now is the time for us to move forward!
When we invest in God's work it deserves our very best! Nothing less than our best will do to show our love for Him. We are not only investing for this generation, but for eternity. It's about equal sacrifice, not equal gifts. A sacrifice means to willingly give the best that I have in faith for a greater purpose than myself. While we all cannot give the same amount, we can all make equal sacrifices in faith for Him. This way everyone can share in His victory!
For some a gift of "faith" may be $1000.00 in three years. For others a gift of "faith" may be $25,000 in three years. Still others a gift of "faith" may require $100,000 in three years. It's not about how much you give. It's about whether you give your best! God will impress a specific amount on your heart to give in faith if you will sincerely ask Him to speak to you.
With man this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). This is your opportunity to launch you into an amazing year, as well as prepare you for the years that follow!
