Worship in a corporate setting

Something powerful and dynamic happens when we worship corporately that doesn't happen in other settings. When we rise up and worship God together, His presence and anointing is activated in our spirit. We are empowered to break bondages and overcome obstacles in order to receive His promises for our lives. The Psalmist David exhorts us corporately “come, let us worship” Psalm 95:6

Outreach

Every believer should be reaching out to those both inside and outside the church. Jesus said, “Go into all the world and make disciples.” Matthew 28:19

We should never be too busy to help hurting people. Reaching out to people locally and internationally with the compassion and mercy of Jesus is the very heartbeat of God. As long as there is one person who doesn't know Christ, Word of Life will continue to reach out through evangelism and missions with the Good News!

The Bible tells us that when we continue in the Word of God, we will know the truth and the new reality of that truth will make us free. We are to be diligent students of the Word so we may be equipped for every good work that He has prepared for us. “...Building up the church, the body of Christ, to a position of strength and maturity...until everyone becomes full grown in the Lord.” Ephesians 4:12-13.

Dedication to Communion

Communion is the celebration of the resurrection power of Jesus Christ. Taking communion together continued to knit the apostles' hearts to Christ and to each other, giving us an example to follow for our own spiritual maturity. Today, when we partake of communion together, we continue to unite ourselves in Christ to one another for the strengthening of the entire Body of Christ.

Ownership by Membership

Membership enables you to capture a sense of belonging to the family of God. Membership is also about taking personal ownership of the vision of Word of Life and running with it. Membership keeps us “in touch and personal” with others and helps us in times of need. “You are a member of God's very own family and you belong in God's household with every other Christian.” Ephesians 2:19

Fellowship by
Relationship

It's important for us to learn about “supernatural” relationships. We need to allow God's forgiveness, His love and His grace to flow through us in order to develop the relationships we need. Otherwise we will only deal with things on a natural level. We should fellowship with one another, being concerned for each other's welfare. Fellowship by relationship is God's blueprint for our development.

Leadership empowerment
through small groups

Leadership is every Christian's God-given destiny. Within the security of a small group, trusting relationships are established, personal growth is experienced and leaders are empowered. Leaders emerge from within small groups equipped, confident and ready to fulfill the Great Commission!

Impacting Ministry with Miracles

Our lives ought to be filled with the miraculous according to the power that works within us- at home, on the job or anywhere. “...Each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. To one is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by the means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, toanother miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation tongues.” 1 Corinthians 12:7-10 We should expect miracles to be available to us every day of the week and not just on Sundays. In the book of Acts all of the miracles happened outside the four walls of the church! Expect the miraculous!

Financial Stewardship

It is God's desire that we prosper. The bible teaches us that wise, obedient financial stewardship is our key to prosperity. Therefore prosperity begins as we cheerfully and obediently tithes and generously give offerings. Scripture also tells us that the person who gives sparingly will receive sparingly, but the person who gives generously will receive generously (2 Corinthians 9:6). God blesses us so that we may bless others.

Effective Prayer

Scripture tells us that our earnest, heartfelt continuous prayers make tremendous, dynamic power available to us. When prayer becomes a lifestyle of relationship resulting in revelation, the awesome power of God will move miraculously in and through every area of your life.
